| The new Albanian passports present the bridge of Arta Greek Minister Georgios Karatzaferis from Party Laos and Mr. Aivaliotis Greek Deputy Minister of Defence have the same claims that the new Albanian passport that they have also the initial EU (European Union).presenting indeed and photocopy of the Albanian passports and asking if the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dora Bakogianni has advanced in some step.Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared ignorance and she promised she investigates the subject. Η παριστάμενη υπουργός Εξωτερικών Ντόρα Μπακογιάννη δήλωσε άγνοια και υποσχέθηκε να διερευνήσει το θέμα. http://hellenicrevenge.blogspot.com/...g-post_07.html In case anyone doesn't know where Arta is look here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arta,_Greece

| What does this mean? The Albanian passports has the bridge of Arta? If so, what % of Arta (and Preveza) was Albanian when Greek got it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfsyz...eature=related Here's an Albanian song: Janines ci pane syte (What did Janina's eyes see) I think Greeks call it Ioannina. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQt57...eature=related (Song for Ali Pashe Tepelena) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXnHQ...eature=related (Tears and nostalgia for Chameria) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kL6ZW...eature=related ('...50 years we haven't see you...our hearts for you cry') While Albanians are growing in numbers I doubt they're a threat to Arta, for now they just want Albanians back in their lands, Chameria, or take every single Greek from Albania so the Chams can get their property. Oh, and stop inciting the Himariotes and trying to hellenize, since this EU will work against Greece. All Albanians will be in it (MK, Kosova, Al) within a decade so the $$ power will balance. Population wise, we will be close enough soon, and Turkey will send 1-2 million workers to Greece within a week. Already 1+ mill are Albanians, Pakistanis, Nigerians, Iraqis etc etc. Turkey will own you with population alone. Many of them are Albanians sent by you to Turkey who will love to get their lands back...where you only have 350,000 people in the entire 'Southern Epirus.' Albanians are very patient, just ask Serbs |

| It's been shown in various places that it is another bridge and not the Arta one. I can't post links yet but it's not too difficult to discover. LAOS engages in its usual silly tactics but admittedly there are quite a few Albanians sharing Grace's nationalistic wet dreams, some of them in positions of power. It's no wonder the average Greek is very averse to the idea of giving citizenship or even permanent residency to the children of Albanian (formerly illegal) immigrants born and raised in Greece, even if they appear to be very assimilated to avoid empowering people like Grace. It is a pity because many of these kids deserve better. |

| Grace you are really annoying. I seriously doubt you believe half the bullshit you post. If you do then you need help; as you come across as a complete idiot.

Fyrom will enter to keep the country together. Albs were promised that, and that's they are not trying to secede. I think we can agree that EU /US want them to stay as one, Greek objections non-withstanding. A solution to the name will be found and even now FYROM is not doing thatbad, it still has a GDP of $7600 /pp and a very friendly business climate. Kosova is poor but EU has them under their wing and is rebuilding their economy from scratch. If everyone else enters in its own merit, they will bend the rules and throw a few crumbs to the Kosovars, plus they have an amazingly young population ready to work for cheap in Kosova. Albania will enter in its own merit by 2015. The economy has been growing by 5-6% for quite a few years, and the inflation is in check, despite having a horrible government. Power and infrastructure will add a point to the GDP and as the gray economy counts, Albania will have plenty more money for improvements. Albania will be the next new destination and most of the coast will be left sparsely developed to attract high rollers. Once beachfront Albanian homes and apartments start selling, Albania will be the next Croatia or Spain or Greece. A little EU money, and most importantly direction and we're rolling. You have to admit that Albania too has a beautiful coastline and place full tourist destinations (not as good as Greece, but pretty good compared to others) All the Balkans countries left out, together equal one Romania. One more push and all are in. Quote:
Turkey is a monster population wise and that is the problem for EU. 5 Million Turks is nothing for Turkey, but can clog EU (especially Bulgaria and Greece) Economically they are more ready than most, but then there is the culture, religion and freedom aspect for EU. You got to share the "Western values," or else... As for the other comments: No one is seeking destruction of anyone, frankly it is Greece that still a war law in force with Albania and that has invented the Vorio Epirus issue, and supports it officially (pensions, passports and via the Church.) The Chams issue is a no brainer: Albania has not thrown out Greeks and taken their land with no compensation. We know why you did it too, excuses aside. What's fair is fair: mistakes need to be rectified. For the rest of the comments, I wish Greeks would treat Albanians better and as a partner. There is plenty of land in the Balkans and thank God Albanians do multiply so there is no need to panic. I just find some slurs, and condescending attitude (not much in this site here to be honest) towards Albanians funny, and I think many people will have to learn to accept that things are changing. Everyone has had a helping hand at some point, and Albanians are finally getting some help. Can we agree that Italy had a horrible, horrible, horrible military in WWII? Plus, Turks if they come will not be coming with rifles, just wives ![]() |
