J. Touloumakos, "Historische Personennamen im Makedonien der Römischen Kaiserzeit", Živa Antika 47, Skopje 1997, p. 211-226
For non-German speakers."Historical personal names in Macedonia of the Roman Imperial times" is a rather interesting synthesis which tries to recostruct historical, ethnological and social circumstances during the Roman rule in Macedonia via onomastical/personnal name analysis in the sources of that period.
Since the xerox-copy I'm working is in a poor quality (too dimm), I'll fix those several pages tommorow and present them here instead of packing them into an eBook.
For now, only the scan of the first page is presented.I hope when the article is fully presented, some of you, the German-speaking participants, will sumarize the article and post a brief resume at English language forum, since the theme: "survival of distinctly Macedonian (Greek) names during the Roman period" is certainly an interesting one.
