Future movement of Servers

Many and myself included have thought of moving the server, to a location that can support the discussion of PanGreece ( in Greek and English), Alexander the Great ( in Greek and English), and Macedonia on the Web.

This way we can use the same usernames and passwords and stay longed in while discussing.

MOTW is getting very crowded with too many languages and forums for Greece etc... it would be much easier to split them into another forum...especially for the Greeks that would like to talk in Greek also (ie PanGreece)

..................i do not think that the fact that there are exclusive Greek language forum constitutes a problem, certainly not towards those who do not know Greek, because seeng the very high level of general good manners in confrontation between various parties, I do not think that Greeks perhaps use those forums in some way that is, so to speak "conspiratory & derogatory".

There are number of Greeks, who, although access to PC almost always means knowledge of Basic English, have only rudimentary knowledge of it, and they preffer to express themselves into their native language.

There are Francophone Greeks, Russophone ones, Italian or Swedish speaking.Putting them on another forum would dissable them to, with their slight knowledge of Basic English, to at least understand the theme of the English messagess and make further inquiry, see the illustrations etc.

I'll leave the decision to those who control this forum.

I disagree. I think we need a certain number of forums about Greece, although maybe cut down on a few that we have now.

Could we have the following General Greek forums under the Macedonian forum as it is now:


General Greek History forum

General Greek News, debates and issues forum

Greek History & political issues by Region forum
(forums: -Cyprus -Epirus -Asia Minor & Pontus -Thrace) (note: the last forums would only be those four forums so when you click on
"Greek History & political issues by Region forum" the next screen gives you those four options


That way we can have room for other Greek discussions but also save detailed discussion for pangreece. thoughts?
