From San Francisco Chronicle today, in connection with Stone's 9-11 film, there's an interview with Stone, and this paragraph's included:

===
"For Stone, being given an opportunity to direct again was a lifeline. His
career had gone cold after the critical drubbing given "Alexander," on which he
had toiled for three years. A pendant bearing an image of the Greek military
commander hangs around his neck, indicating that his affection for his subject
has not diminished. (Like Alexander, not one to give up easily, Stone is
assembling a 3 1/2-hour DVD, complete with an intermission, using footage cut
from the film.)"
===

After all the protests from PanMacedonian Ass. of US, Americans learned their lesson as to whom was Alexander. Now its time to do the same with Europe and smash Skopjan propaganda.

Stone can add whatever footage he wants but he can't overcome his poor casting choices and over the top acting of the leads.
