A typicall sample of the Skopian propaganda and the alleged <testimonies> of the non-Greekness of the ancient Macedonians:A Scopian uploaded in youtube this video:

As you can see,he crows that he found a book written by a professor of Cambridge where the Macedonian language is considered as one of the ancient languages in Europe while his compatriots are applauding.Off course there is nowhere written in this book that the ancient Macedonian language is correlated to the modern <Makedonski> language of FYROM and furthermore,the author isn't assertive whether the ancient Macedonian was a non Greek language or a Greek dialect.I found this book in googlebooks:

and i ascertained that this Scopian followed the usual tactic of his compatriots:The selectively quoting only of those passages that suit them,whereas all the annoying excerpts that don't fit in their forgery are ommited.The author of the book actually says that there are two views about the language of the Macedonians and he quotes several sentences from the ancient historians which invoke the supporters of both these theories.The Scopian focused only on what suits him,the passage from Demosthenes where Philip is called <barbarian> and Plutarch's phrase <Alexandros anevoa makedonisti>.He ommited all the other inconvenient passages as that from Polybius where Macedonians and Greeks are considered as homophyloi (of the same race,akin) and from Livius as well,where the Macedonians consider themselves Greeks who speak the same language with Aetolians and Akarnanians and fight against the barbarian Romans.
