Olli Ilmari Rehn is a Finnish politician, currently serving as European Commissioner for Enlargement. Recently his name has come up as a potential presidential candidate for the 2012 election in Finland.
He is known also for his poltical stance as about the Macedonian issue.
"Concerning the name issue: it is a biletaral matter between Greece and FYROM.
We encourage both countries to intensify their efforts to achieve a solution to this long lasting name issue and we support the mediating efforts of Mr Nimitz under the auspices of the United Nations.
We encouraged our partners in Skopje to do their best in a spirit of good neighbouring relationships as outlined in the negotiations framework for the country."

Very few people know that the Finnish state (Finland) is in reality a MULTINATIONAL state
As a matter of fact Finland is occupying territories of other nations.
More specifically :
Aland Islands (Swedish-speaking islands occupied by Finland)
Vδstra Finlands (Swedish-speaking area occupied by Finland)
Lappi/Lapland (Oppressed nation without own country)
Karjala/Karelia (Oppressed nation without own country)
Karelia is a Federal Republic, part of which is occupied by Finland.
Karelians claims
Moreover, the Finns have stolen the national symbols of the Karelians as well as their Culture claiming that the Karelian epic Poem, Kalevala, is their own, even though Ancient Karelians have nothing to do with Finns.
Also they have claims over the Republic of Karelia, naming their Orthodox Archdiocese ";Archdiocese of Finland and of ALL Karelia";
Moreover the Finns are oppressing the Karelian minority and also they do not recognize our (Slavic) language which now spoken in the Federal Republic of Karelia, as the ONLY original Karelian language.
Therefore we protest for human rights violation by the Finnish State and we are seeking our independence.

In case you thought that all of the above are provocative, aggressive and false, then please try to understand that
This is EXACTLY what the SLAVIC nation of the ";REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA"; are doing to Greece:
Just as the Slavs of Karelia are not "Karelians" by nation but RUSSIANS, the same way the Slav inhabitants of the geographical area of Macedonia belong to the same ethnic group as BULGARIANS and they certainly have NOTHING to do with Ancient Macedonia.
Just as in Karelia the Slavic language spoken by the majority is RUSSIAN, the language spoken in FYROM is a SLAVIC Bulgarian dialect.
Just as KALEVALA is the national Epic poem of the Finns, so is ALEXANDER THE GREAT a national symbol of the Greeks. And in the same way that Kalevala is NOT part of the Slavic culture, so Alexander the Great has NOTHING to do with the Slavs.
By supporting the Governement of FYROM against Greece it is as if supporting the Slavs from Karelia to have CLAIMS over the state of Finland as well as Finnish history and nation.
If you believe that this is impossible, 50 years ago under Communist Yugoslavia we thought so too. Now the aggressiveness of the Communists changed into aggressiveness of the Nationalists in our neighboring state, which under the name "Macedonia" automatically becomes a historical and geographical fragment, dangerous for the stability in the area.
Please PROTECT THE SOVEREIGNTY AND HISTORY OF GREECE, a EU member state, from the aggressiveness of the governement of our neighbors as well as of the American Foreign Policy in Europe.
HISTORY CANNOT BE CHANGED.
PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW KOSOVO NEXT TO OUR BORDERS.
