Αἰακίδης γένος εἰμί· Νεοπτόλεμος δὲ πατήρ μου·
οὔνομα δ’ Ἀλκίμαχος· τῶν ἀπ’ Ὀλυνπιάδος.
νηπίαχον δέ με μοῖρα καὶ ἀνδράσιν εἷσα φρονοῦντα
τὸν τριέτη τύνβῳ τῷδ’ ὑπέθηκε νέκυν.



Translation

Aeacid is my origin. Neoptolemus is my father
My name is Alkimachos of those descended from Olympiada
As a child whose intelligence was equal to that of men
Fate placed me at the age of three a corpse beneath this tomb

Note the Doric οὔνομα which is used in the text...

[μυρόμενος δ’ Ἕλ]ενο̣ς θούρου γένος Α̣[ἰακίδαο],
[υἱὸν γῆς κόλποις] κρύψεν ἀ̣πειρεσί̣[ης]



Translation

As you pass the memorial of Neoptolemus, strager, stay,
that you may see the tomb of famed Olympiadas.
Hellen bewailing the race of impetuous Aeacides, buried his son in the bosom of measureless earth
