Any military experience is good. Gives you an appreciation of what honor, duty and discipline is all about. It also makes you appreciate the importance of team work.

What would you expect the military to do for you? One thing you may want to consider is a military field you can use in the civilian sector. Do not get caught up in something you can not use once you are discharged.

My father was in the army,so i know what are you talking about!
in conlusion MR masolord,search for another job!:)

No need for that, TirAlb. I was giving Masolord some good advice about the military and how one should be smart about picking a field. Afterall, smart decisions prepare you for the future.

Well, if you have guts go on, but make sure that you have guts...

...And try to see the fun side of it, whenever you can. If you get overwhelmed by order and restrictions, you shall feel trapped.

Whatever you do, DON'T GO IN IRAQ. Not that I am especially fond of you, but life is too valuable for anybody to waste, or wear out with psychological problems. Several soldiers who return from there kill their wives or girlfriends...

Once in a while things stir up. As I said, we haven't been in war for some decades.

Your country on the other hand, has never been in war... :dry:
