Anyway this isnt about Macedonia. I got this map from Norman Davies Europe: A History and posted it because it challenges perceptions about Europe. Shows how easily the wide expanses of Eastern Europe are forgotten.

Yes, well, not for long. Eastern Europe is fast becoming the new attraction: I'm meeting more and more people who want to go there, both as tourists and to live.

Yes. After WWII Europe has its "golden age", and by that we mean Western Europe.
