QUEBEC CITY - The Parti Quebecois culture critic is denying he insinuated anglophone Quebecers could lose the right to vote in a sovereign Quebec.
In an interview with French language radio host Gilles Proulx, Pierre Curzi was discussing the PQ's controversial bill, proposing immigrants be tested on their level of French before being awarded citizenship in Quebec.
Proulx said anglophones on the West Island would never accept such a move.
In response, Curzi admitted Quebec currently doesn't have control over who can vote, but he said that would change in a sovereign Quebec... promising the control over who would have access to Quebec citizenship would have "more teeth."
But in an interview with CJAD News, Curzi says that doesn't mean anglophones wouldn't have the right to vote. Irregardless of their mother tongue, Curzi says anyone born in Quebec would automatically be awarded Quebec citizenship.

Of all the fuckin' things for the number three (i.e. LAST) party in the Quebec legislature to worry about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Fuckin' Quebec citizenship scheme!!!!!!!!!
For those who don't know the Parti Quebecois wants Quebec to be a sovereign country. They nearly succeeeded in a 1995 referendum when they
nearly won by sabotaging 50,000 to 100,000 votes that opposed them. One of their higher-ups even admitted this and GUTLESS CANADA did absolutely
nothing.
The ballot boxes are still being kept in storage believe it or not but GUTLESS CANADA doesn't want them opened because GUTLESS CANADA doesn't want to offend the majority french-speaking population here in Quebec.
Now,if I get the jist of this statement by this separatist,I might not have the right to vote in a sovereign Quebec because my french might not be good enough?
Please note, the separatists want an independent Quebec but want to retain the Canadian dollar.
Malakes kologallous.
