Been meaning to post some important stuff, and was frustrating  I got time outs, anyone else getting this ? or is it me

How come members cannot post links until 15 posts? Is that overzealous security?

To preempt spammers.

How is it gonna stop bots? I think even 1 or 3 posts before you have a right to post links is enough to stop most bots. For me as a non-bot it is very annoying to deal with this restriction. Once an admin edited one of my links in, after I stripped out the (http) (www). If admins and mods keep making such kind of edits it will be more work then just banning spam bots. Yes or no?

Dude stop complaining I am tired of complaints. Get to 15 posts and the rule comes off.
It pays to be patient.
