Hey guys, I found this article on the front of my local newspaper here in Melbourne, "The Preston Post Times"... This person who was one for the first supporters of the Melbourne Skopjean soccer club "Preston Macedonia" now called "Preston Lions", is claiming for calm!
This same person who was born and raised in Greece, left during the civil war, grew up in Romania, YET CLAIMS TO BE "SLAV-MACEDONIAN"
What do you guys think?

He is actually one of those POOR kids who got kidnapped by the Communists and the Slavs who fled to Yugoslavia. The article states he was 6 years old in the refugee camp! We should actually feel sorry for the poor guy. He is Greek, but brainwashed to believe he was something else!

I have just as much hatred toward the Skopjan lies and propoganda, but we need to look at each person as an individual. This guy was OBVIOUSLY brainwashed and has never known any better. After all he was only 6 when he was taken away from his parents in Greece. At six years old you are very succeptable to all kinds of outside influences. He was in Romania until he was 15! That means there was 9 years of indoctrination. I feel the reason he considers himself to be SlavMacedonian is due to where he was taken from, MACEDONIA! SO when he moved to Australia and settled in an area that has many SlavMacedonians he obviously believed(speaking a Slavic idiom) that he had found his roots. OF course there is no possible way with the name he has to be a Slav. SOmeone should really be willing to get in contact with that guy and have a civilized discussion with him explaining about the 25,000 kids taken from Greece at the end of the Civil War and that he was one of them! He may have never had anyone explain to him the Greek side of the dispute.
Anyways, just my thoughts on the topic:)

Spartan,
Unfortunately he is one of many here in Melbourne. I have spoken to dozens of them and a couple are what I consider very good friends. All around his age group. They will hear nothing of it even if you try. As they have repeatedly said to me every time I say to them “Giati ise toso kata tis elladas?” as an answer I get “Vlepis to heri mou? I Ellada kapote me pligose, I pligi egiane alla to simadi emine ke etsi den xehno.” Keeping his Greek name and probably excellent understanding of Greek language, is what I consider that his kind does to distinguish them selves from the Vardarians, you see he sees his self as Ejan Macedonski , Makedonas tou Egeou. He propably has ktimata near Florina and all his family is there..but he is also probably branded “persona non granda”…and and and….kala krasia!:read:

our friend isnt the only one in Australia.
all these blockheads are from Florina, and guess what, they are all Anti-Greek.
i have no sympathy for them. they were gypsies in greece during the turkish occupation that have remained. they are at the front of propaganda worldwide and they are just as bad as the blockheads of fyromia.
you guys probably know all this....
unfortunately greece should have sent them all over the border to yugoslavia or albania back then.

What makes it frustrating is that the majority (not all) of these people are going around crying about Greece’s mistreatment and pledge for them to be allowed to return, when they are pure enemies of the state by any one’s point of you.
Ok, some of them were children and had no power over what happened to them. But as adults today they choose to do exactly what their parents did! And they teach that to their children!
Who were their parents fighting against? Their brothers and sisters!
What were they fighting for? Disguised according to the times (e.g. Religion, Politics and now Nationalism) purely fighting to enforce their beliefs on others by force.
They tried it with Religion (Bulgarian Church Vs Patriarchy) and siding with the Bulgarians…FAILED!
They tried it with Politics (Communism Vs Democracy) and sided with the Serbians….. FAILED!
Now they are trying it with Nationality (Macedonians Vs Greeks) and siding with EU….YET TO BE DECIDED !
And then they complain why we do not allow them back and why we dislike them!!
