Philosophy...

Philos = Friend

Sophia = Wisdom

Philosophy = Wisdomlover

And Philosophos (referring to a person) means something like "the one who loves searching for wisdom".

Thank you.But is there a term "Philozophy".A cleric once criticized the naming of the "Philozophical" (Filozofski) Faculty in Skoplye as such, claiming that it means "Love of darkness" and, in a conspiracy theory fashion, that it was deliberately introduced term by Communists.

Philozophy and not Philoshophy is a philosophical movement of a pro-life apologetics.
Zophosis (Ζόφωσις) in the Greek language mean... Darkness

It means that the founders of the local Philosophical Faculty were so full of "erudition" that they did not even knew the proper name of the discipline they were to taught.On the other hand in FYROM Slavic, the sound of "s" is compromised after "o", approximating the sound of "z"................

Knowledge is Γνώσις nowadays.

But yeah, yoy're right... Didn't think about Ζόφωσις at all... Wtf... :unsure:
