How Much Land do the UK bases take up of Greek Cyprus?

Looks like they have quite a bit of land. Any idea of the percentage of southern Cyprus? I know the bases take up 99 Square miles of the southern part of Cyprus.

Also why do the Cypriots tolerate them and seem more interested in collecting rent from them then removing them? Does this say more about the famous Cypriot character than anything?
