first of all, as this is my first post, I want to say congratulations for your efforts on the site and forum.

I wanted to share a site and see the reactions:

http://www.livius.org/maa-mam/macedonia/macedonia.html

the Dutch author seems impartial, but from my limited (at least, for this forum) knowledge, there seem to be misunderstandings in the article, stemming partially, from what constituted the ancient region of Macedonia.

the northern part of Upper Macedonia constitutes the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia.

In my opinion, the person that wrote this article didn't do their research 100% and at times makes it sound that the Macedonians weren't Greek, but like Greek or something.

How stupid can someone be. I think the propaganda of Skopje has caught alot of ignorant peoples attention and they doubt wheather the Ancient Macedonians were Greek or not, even though all the evidence cries out Greek.

This person can't be a real historian, cause all the historians know the Macedonians were Greek, their just trying to discredit Greek history.
