Congratulating to myself for over 1.000 downloads on download.com, I would like to stress that if you are of any need of ancient Greek fonts (which by definition include Linear B and few other scripts preceeding classical Greek alphabet), including a number of special, rarely used glyphs, you are invited to download the "Paleofonts" package that I compiled in order to provide historians with a free collection of paleographic fonts. There are more proffesional fonts, all of them commercial, the most prominent among them being "Alphabetum Unicode".To some extent, "Paleofonts" is an improvized archive: it contains both Unicode and non-Unicode fonts. But I maintain that most of the fonts are usable for publishing in ancent Greek and dosens of other, extinct or used on special occassion languages.
Your suggestions and criticisms of any kind are welcomed.
