Manakis Brothers issue

In this site FYROM steal the known Manaki brothers. FYROM propaganda present them as "Macedonian" , that mean Slavs.
Manaki brothers born in Monastiri(Bitola) and were the first filmmakers in the Balkans. Greek King Constantine they used them as the personnal photogarphers and filmakers.
FYROM continue the game of the stealing.

Their archive of film footage was deposited in the State Archive of the People's Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1955, and transferred to the Cinémathèque of the Yugoslav Socialist Republic of Macedonia in 1976.

THis happened after the Greek government turned down the archive in 1954/55 because Greece didnt want to upset Tito at a time when Greek-Yugoslav relations were improving.

The same period when tens of thousands of Greeks were being expelled from Constantinople, Imvros and Tenedos by the Turkish government and never once was the deterrent of similar expulsions of Muslims from Thrace brought up by Greece.

The Manaki Brothers are known as the pioneers in Macedonian photography and film. They are considered Macedonians and that does not mean they were Slavic. They were Aromanians (Vlachs) that came from Avdela southern Macedonia; and durring Ottoman times it was included in the vilayet of Monastir. The Manaki Brother's real names were Janachi and Milton Manachia. They had their business in Monastir (Bitola).

Yannis Manakis returned permanent in Greece in 1930 together with his son because his son wants to study in the Thessalonica’s University but unfortunately his son dies after two years.
Miltos Manakis want to return in Greece too, it made many efforts to come together with his archive but they don’t give him the permission to bringing his archive in Greece.
Yannis and Miltos after 1940 they don’t see each other never again
Yannis die in 1954 in Thessaloniki and Miltos in 1964
