True Mac...(Donald?)
I am not going to bother to respond to what you said. Because #1 you need to go back to school and learn about the difference between hegemonies and empires #2 the gentlemen of the forum did a pretty good job when it comes to more articulate historic arguments.
I will say this though. When you want to say something, do not use bold Big letters. It does not make you look smarter, it makes you look like a 4 year old. You know those little devils when they want something they yell and yell and people succumb. Well not all. True educators let the child scream alone. When she he realises what she he does and that there is no point to it then she he goes back to her his senses. Since you are able to use the internet I assume you are not of that age. Well, try next time to honour your age and your heritage.

The trouble with this "Bulgarian troll" is not his misguided beliefs. He's entitled to be stupid and uneducated. This makes him sad or laughable depending upon your perspective.

However, the more dangerous thing here and not funny at all, is the direct manipulation of historical data; in this case, the purposeful omission of important data. Whenever people do this they prove themselves to be the basest of liars, cheats and frauds. If there is a Hell for revisionists, it will be full of these "Bulgarian trolls".

Since anyone can write a fairy tail here...i have one!

Alexander the Great 34 min. before he dies:
"In 1133 years from now a barbarian tribe will come and stay in the northern borders of Macedonia...they will be called Slaves(his fever made him make a mistake by a letter)!
In 2300 years from now they will claim Macedonia as theirs and Voukefala's shit as their ancestor!
Then it's the time to kill them all!"

Is that the time?

I've enjoyed laughing at this troll as much as anyone. Ignorance can bring levity to any situation. However, on a more serious note. We encourage free speech on this forum and I am pleased that we have not degenerated into the very prejudices that we accuse the skops of. But free speech has limits in every democracy and I am not loathe to restrict those who manipulate fact through rewrites or omissions. We wasted 2 pages pages on this moron. Let him come back with credible sources and quotations but until then tell him to get lost or to go back to the quasi-nazi mak forums that will let him spew his nonsense.

Quote:
[5.22] Now that the men of this family are Greeks, sprung from Perdiccas, as they themselves affirm, is a thing which I can declare of my own knowledge, and which I will hereafter make plainly evident. That they are so has been already adjudged by those who manage the Pan-Hellenic contest at Olympia. For when Alexander wished to contend in the games, and had come to Olympia with no other view, the Greeks who were about to run against him would have excluded him from the contest - saying that Greeks only were allowed to contend, and not barbarians. But Alexander proved himself to be an Argive, and was distinctly adjudged a Greek; after which he entered the lists for the foot-race, and was drawn to run in the first pair. Thus was this matter settled.

Don't forget Alexander's father. This is from the letter he sent to the Athenians during the lead up to their war....

Demosthenes, Speeches 11-20, the Letter of Philip

"Not content with this, you have shown your contempt for right and your hostility to me by actually sending an embassy to urge the king of Persia to declare war on me. This is the most amazing exploit of all; for, before the king reduced Egypt and Phoenicia, you passed a decree calling on me to make common cause with the rest of the Greeks against him, in case he attempted to interfere with us; [7] and today you have such a superabundance of hatred for me that you negotiate with him for a defensive alliance. Yet I am given to understand that your fathers of old punished the sons of Pisistratus for inviting the Persians to invade Greece. You are not ashamed to do what you have always made a matter of indictment against your tyrants."

I like how they use Dimosthenes. The guy was an Athenian~ Of course he'd hate Alexander and anything to do with Macedonia. He hated other Greek states as well. So I would not use Dimosthenes so much as a basis of a different Macedonian ethnos.

Macedonia is Greek.
